First, we’ll gather some information about your project, target audience, publishing goals, and any questions you may have about working with us. Next, our Client Services Director, Ross Browne, will review this information and a portion of your manuscript to assess its readiness and suitability for our process and inform an editor and service recommendation.
He’ll then share your manuscript with the editor(s) he believes would be the best fit for you and let them have a look. Then, it’s back to you with an introduction to the editor he suggests working with, a clear breakdown of recommended options for initial review, a written quote, and answers to any questions you may have about the process and what to expect.
If you decide to proceed, the ball will be in our court while your editor reads your manuscript and prepares your initial feedback. We’ll email this to you when it’s ready, along with an invitation to set up a call with your editor so you can discuss the feedback, ask questions, and plan the path forward.
