Interior Layout & Design
Full service typesetting, layout, and interior formatting for print books
Complete layout and design of your book's interior pages, implementing all typesetting and formatting considerations including book size, headers, fonts, charts, tables, photographs, illustrations, and sidebars. Also includes file formatting and conversion for preparing a manuscript for direct publication with companies like CreateSpace, Lightning Souce, and LuLu.
It's our goal to help you produce books of the same quality you'd find with a traditional publisher. This includes adhering to the highest industry standards of artistic and technical execution, with personal attention to how they affect and are affected by the story. We're never interested in producing work that is simply "good enough" or stamped out of a mold: we want your book to stand out from the crowd.
The costs below are the typical base price for a single novel and are for reference only. We will evaluate each manuscript separately and give a personalized quote containing any additional costs, if applicable.
Overview
This full design service delivers final camera-ready formatting of your entire book interior, including:
- Front Matter (half-title page, title page, copyright page, table of contents, and, if applicable, dedication, acknowledgements, preface, prologue, and/or introduction)

- Up to five images (such as a map, author photo, chapter headings, imprint logo, etc.)
- End Matter, as provided by author (epilogue, conclusion, afterword, end notes, appendix, bibliography, glossary, index*)
* Index generation is available as a separately billed service.
