Manuscript Consultation Submissions

Welcome to our manuscript consultation submission form. The purpose of this form is to gather some information and to confirm our authorization to proceed with this hourly-billed service exactly as you wish us to. You’ll have the option to request your feedback in writing, by phone, or both. You’ll also be given the option to limit the billable time your editor will spend on the project to ensure we stay within your desired budget.

Upon hitting the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page, you’ll be sent an e-mail with a written record of the data submitted here and confirmation of any choices you make in connection to the manuscript consultation service. Billing Policy	The Editorial Department’s manuscript consultation service bills at $75 per hour for feedback plus $0.75 per page (counting as 250 words) for review of material. In addition to the $0.75 per page flat rate reading fee, authors engaging this service should expect to be billed for the time your editor spends providing feedback, whether in person, by phone, by annotation, e-mail, or in writing. Please note that this service is billed in 15-minute increments, with a one-hour minimum. We generally request a deposit to cover the reading fee and roughly half the total expected cost of hourly consultation.
