Has this article piqued your interest with regards to one sub-genre or another?  Here are a few resources that have proven helpful for the Editorial Department staff in the wild worlds of science fiction and fantasy in separating our cyberpunks from our sprites and pixies.

SFsite.com has a great genre breakdown that includes both SF and Fantasy.

Writing-world.com also has a comprehensive list of sub-genres. This set is focused on SF.
