Oceana GarceauSpecialties: cover art and full dust jacket designs for print and e-books Oceana graduated from The Fashion Institute of technology in 2005 with a BFA in Illustration. She has worked as a designer at St. Martin's Press and Penguin, both located in NYC. Now living in Boulder CO, she is a Marketing Graphic Designer at Interweave Press. Her covers have conveyed both strong and sensitive designs for her women's fiction geared authors. Pete GarceauSpecialties: cover art and full dust jacket designs for print and e-books Pete graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a BA in Graphic Design. He has worked as a designer for St. Martin's Press and art director for PublicAffairs, both located in NYC. He now lives in Boulder, CO and continues his work for PublicAffairs. His covers have been featured in design blogs ranging from New York Times blog, to notable book cover design sites, such as The Book Cover Archive.
Carol RuzickaSpecialties: cover design, hand-drawn and digital Illustration, technical graphics and diagrams Carol Ruzicka has over 25 years of design experience and is an expert in both hand drawn and digital imagery. She works in virtually any medium, including watercolor, gouache, pastel, acrylic, oils, graphite pencil, scratchboard, colored pencil, and digital vector formats. In addition to cover design and story illustration, she also specializes in detailed technical schematics. Carol has worked with such publishers as St. Martin’s Press, Soho Publishers, Hearst Books, and Stern Math Publishers. See some of her samples below.
Mark KorsakSpecialties: cover design for print and e-books, interior layout and design Mark Korsak has been publishing original illustration, design and graphics since 1994 for a variety of clients and usages including magazines, newspapers, ad campaigns, branding, logos, identity, theater and performance posters, cd covers, books, catalogs and pre-production visualization. He is skilled in both traditional and digital drawing and painting as well as photography and typography. Mark holds a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and aside from personal artistic pursuits Mark has also created and coordinated the production of multiple art catalogs, coffee table books and compendiums for select museums and independent publishers. Jay LibbySpecialties: CGI Illustration for cover art and interior illustration Jason “Jay” Libby’s work has been featured on the covers of multiple RPG projects for companies like R. Talsorian Games. He can handle interior illustration as well as any type of book cover, from a basic thumbnail for your straight-to-Kindle project, to a complete dust jacket for your hard cover novel. Jay's art has been seen on multiple role-playing book covers, and he specializes in digital art for sci-fi, fantasy, and horror projects. See a few of his samples below.
